Foundation Review: Yves St Laurent Le Teint Touche Éclat

So I've been using the Yves St Laurent foundation for about six weeks now and I even used it for my graduation. I've really enjoyed wearing it and I'm going to go ahead and dive into a full review.

This me using the foundation for  an every day look, its so natural looking and it comes in such beautiful gold packaging.

The bottle is a sleek and simple design with notes of gold, very classic Yves St Laurent.

Evening out: Chips, sunsets and Southend on Sea.

I hate not doing something, I can't really turn off and vegetate in front of the telly unless its a Real Housewives Of Atlanta marathon. But since graduating and being in between jobs, its been so bloody boring! I like to have evenings out doing something inexpensive and different. So last week John and I got the train to South-end on Sea to watch the sunset and eat some seaside chips. It was only £5 on the train and £3.70 for the chips and there was loads. we also took cold pizza to eat on the beach. We pretty much just had a super unhealthy dinner on the beach.

I love this picture so much  it looks like a different country in my opinion! Southend is very serene in the evening.

I took  a few pictures of the evening it was such a calming thing to do except for the seagulls trying to eat our chips!

Throwback Thursday: Rugby World Cup Warm Up in Stratford

Since its the Rugby World Cup I thought I'd throwback to the summer when I went to watch a warm up game between Samoa and The Barbarians at the Olympic Stadium! It was honestly the most fun day out and a very different day to what I would normally do.

My graduation day make up look: plus day and night outfits.

Hello lovelies, sorry I've been so absent on my blog, no excuses really just had no inspiration and tonnes of stuff on my mind! But anyway, I have just graduated, this week in fact on the 16th of September 2015 from CCCU. I thought it would be good to show you how I did my make up look for the day as well as my two outfits, one for the day and one for the evening.

I wanted something kind of timeless, so I wouldn't look back on my pictures in five years and cringe at myself, but knowing me I probably will do that! I opted for a gold eye look with a bold red lip and a full coverage foundation look.  So stick around and have a read to see how I did it. I am not a professional by the way guys, this is just me showing you how I do my make up look NOT a tutorial!

My Skin Care Routine

So this is my very first beauty post and I thought why not start with the basics, skin care. I like to keep my skin care routine very simple because when I was younger I used to think I needed tonnes of products to keep my face looking fresh and clean, but it broke my skin out like MAD! I mean my skin was just so erratic back in the day, however I have figured out what it needs and doesn’t need so without further ado, here is my skin care routine.

Funfetti Cupcakes

Hi there, this is my first official blog post!
I spent the evening making these lovely cupcakes, I saw them at Cupcake Jemma's shop Crumbs and Doilies in Soho back in June when I spent the day in London for my birthday. I had such a lovely chat with her as well, she's super lovely and her cakes are absolutely DIVINE!! I mean they may actually be straight from heaven. Anyway if you haven't seen her videos on YouTube, you definitely should, her recipes are so easy and honestly they produce, just beautiful, beautiful cakes. Without further ado here goes.
Also as a side note, taking pictures, following a recipe and baking is so blooming hard! Props to all the bloggers who have been on the grind for so long, you make it look flawless and effortless.
